ICONAPIX
About the work
Calm framing. Honest light. Images made to last.
Photography with intention
ICONAPIX is a photography practice for people who want their photographs to feel considered, not rushed, not overproduced, and not lost in a sea of lookalike edits.
Sessions are shaped around the subject and the setting: portraits that feel like people, events documented with a quiet eye, and personal projects given room to breathe. The public gallery stays curated so the work leads.
Finished sets for clients are delivered privately behind an access code. When you want the fuller story of a session, Shoots will open that door later.
Based near Kingston in South Frontenac, covering Kingston and surrounding areas, with travel by arrangement.
A little about me
I’m Stuart, the photographer behind ICONAPIX. I’m forty-eight, married, with a daughter who is nearly seven. She reminds me daily what worth keeping looks like.
We recently moved from Pickering to six acres of forest near Perth Road Village in South Frontenac, trading city pace for Canadian quiet. That shift shapes how I work: unhurried sessions, honest light, and photographs that belong to the place you’re in.
I shoot across the range, from corporate headshots to portraits, events, and personal glamour or boudoir work. I don’t do passport photos. Whatever we’re making, I want the most from it. I’m calm, patient, and happy to go out of my way so you feel comfortable. Tension reads on camera; ease doesn’t lie.
Away from the lens I’m a nerd through and through: nature, music, technology, gaming, and programming (this site included). I keep a range of techniques ready so your ideas have room to land, not the same routine every time.
